Plasma deposition

By introducing a gaseous monomer in a plasma chamber, a deposition on the substrate to be treated can be obtained. By means of this technique, layers aimed at modifying the substrate’s behaviour can be obtained to protect it, insulate it, aso.

The main applications are the following:

  • Deposition of a hydrophobic layer
  • Deposition of an oleophobic layer
  • Barrier layers
  • Insulating or protective depositions (e.g.: scratch-proof)
